A case study video for every project you finish
You finish a site you are proud of, and what goes into the feed is a flat screenshot. Casecut makes the video instead: your own Figma design, in motion, with a cursor and sound.

Made for where designers post
What the AI director does
It reads the copy and the typography, decides what is most worth showing in your design and brings the camera in on it. It writes a storyboard: which section gets time, which one the camera glides through, what the cursor presses.
Then it is yours to direct. Four templates change the pacing, the camera and the sound of the same frame, and a look you like can be saved as your own template for the next project.
How it works
- Install the plugin. It is free on Figma Community and works on any Figma plan.
- Tick a frame, press Animate. Every layer arrives on its own, with a clean background behind it. The editor opens in your browser.
- Let the AI director make the first cut. It studies the design, writes the storyboard, moves a real cursor and scores the sound.
- Change anything, then export. Edit on the timeline or tell the director in the chat. Export MP4 in 16:9, 4:5 and 9:16.
Questions
Is Casecut free?
Yes. The free plan gives you 3 exports every week in 1080p with no watermark, with the AI director, sound and all three formats included. Pro adds 4K and 30 exports a month, Studio removes the limit.
Can I change what the AI made?
Everything. Each block on the timeline has its own menu, every layer has its own entrance, cursor clicks can be moved or switched off, you can add your own cursor stop by pointing at any layer, and you can simply tell the director what to change in the chat.
Is there sound?
Yes. Soft clicks, whooshes and pops follow every move, with a calm ambient bed underneath. You can add a melody on a recorded instrument, such as piano, vibraphone, marimba or harp, or switch the sound off.
Which formats can I export?
MP4 in 16:9, 4:5 and 9:16. Each format gets its own camera, it is not a crop of the same shot. 1080p on the free plan, 4K on Pro and Studio.
Does it work with mobile designs?
Yes. A frame up to 520 px wide is shown as a phone screen.
